Privacy & Cookie Policy
Last updated: 5 June 2026
This policy explains how Tray ERP (“Tray,” “we,” “us”), a product developed by IT-TECH and based in Quebec, Canada, collects and uses information when you visit trayerp.com (the “Site”). It does not cover the Tray ERP application itself, which is governed by your separate customer agreement.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us. If you book a demo or email us, we receive the details you provide — typically your name, company, email address, and any message content.
- Analytics data (only with your consent). If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects standard usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location (city/region, derived from a truncated IP), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the Site. This helps us understand which content is useful and improve the Site.
- Essential technical data. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes basic request data needed to serve and secure the Site. This is not used to profile you.
2. Cookies and similar technologies
Analytics cookies are off by default. They are only set after you choose “Accept” in our cookie banner (Google Consent Mode v2). If you choose “Decline,” or take no action, analytics cookies are not set.
| Type | Purpose | Set without consent? |
|---|---|---|
| Consent preference | Remembers your accept/decline choice (stored locally in your browser). | Yes — strictly necessary |
| Google Analytics 4 | Aggregate usage measurement to improve the Site. | No — only after you accept |
You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing this site’s cookies and local storage in your browser; the banner will reappear and analytics will return to the off state until you accept again.
3. How we use information
- To respond to demo requests and enquiries you send us.
- To measure and improve the Site’s content and performance (only with analytics consent).
- To keep the Site secure and operational.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal effects.
4. Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Site, under appropriate safeguards:
- Google LLC — Google Analytics 4 (analytics), only if you consent.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting and security.
These providers may process data outside Canada (including in the United States). We rely on their contractual and technical safeguards for such transfers.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with a regulator. In Quebec, this includes rights under the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25); in the EU/UK, rights under the GDPR. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below.
6. Data retention
Enquiry and demo-request emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and our legitimate follow-up. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics configuration and is held in aggregate form.
7. Contact
For any privacy question or request, contact our privacy contact at IT-TECH:
8. Changes
We may update this policy as the Site or applicable law changes. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision.
