Who is behind this.

Tray ERP is built by IT-TECH, a software company operating out of Montréal since 2010. Food manufacturers are being asked to trust us with recall-critical data, so it is reasonable to want a name attached to that.

Ilias founded IT-TECH in 2010 and has run it since. Tray ERP grew out of that work — building and supporting systems for operations that cannot afford to lose track of what they made, from what, and who received it.

Why Tray exists

Most food operations can tell you what they made. Far fewer can tell you, in minutes, which lot it came from, which supplier delivered that lot, and every customer who received the result. That answer usually lives across a receiving binder, a recipe document and three spreadsheets, and it is needed exactly when there is no time to assemble it.

Tray is built around that one question. Every receipt creates a lot, every production run consumes one, and every shipment ties back — so the trace already exists before anyone asks for it.

What we do not claim

We are not certified. Tray produces the records CFIA inspections, FDA 21 CFR 117 preventive controls, SQF and other GFSI-benchmarked audits, and HACCP plans require. It is not itself a certified or accredited product, and using it does not confer certification on your operation.
Accounting is an export, not a sync. Tray exports orders and invoices to QuickBooks Online, Sage 50 or CSV. It is one-way. Direct API sync is on the roadmap and is not shipped.
The AI assistant is in beta. “Ask your warehouse” answers from a read-only query against your own data and shows the query it ran. It is still changing, and we label it accordingly.
